Vegan Banana Nut Bread

Containing no eggs or milk, this delicious bread will be dark brown if the bananas are very ripe. I make it without the honey or veggie oil and it’s still tasty.

Stir together well with a fork:

1 & ½ cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

½ to 1 cup chopped walnuts

In a separate bowl mash:

2 & ½ – 3 cups mashed bananas (or about 5 good-sized ripe bananas)


1/3 cup honey

2 Tbs vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients together well. Spray no-stick spray or lightly oil a bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for anywhere from 45 minutes to possibly as long as 1 & ½ hours. Bananas are gooey and they take awhile.
